When guided by the artist, we approach a reality that can only be fictional. If photography is equivalent to “the most absolute blindness”, Fontcuberta proposes that we abandon the tracks and penetrate a place that can only hold the construction of meaning. Photographic image constitutes the germ of contemporary visual production; therefore a critical practice of photography is about reinstating its political corpus to that production.
