The Umbrella Corner Series (#5)
The title of this exhibition series refers to a strangely shaped corner at the entrance zone of the gallery that has been occupied by a glass stand for umbrellas. Moritz Küng establishes a content specific project in that spot by inviting 6 artists to react to the limitations of the spatial condition as well as to a particular key work of the conceptual art movement: the installation "Where's Al?" by Allen Ruppersberg. Matt Mullican is the fifth artist selected for intervening space.
